Robotics engineer by training and actor by instinct, Vikrant KalKal has lived between two worlds, bringing the precision of engineering and the spontaneity of performance into his work. He began acting on stage at the age of six, through school plays, and since then has been shaped by a deep exposure to multilingual cinema, from the richness of Indian storytelling to the precision of American and European films. Based in Paris, he has performed with a physical awareness and discipline that gives his acting a grounded, intuitive quality. He is currently in post-production on two short films headed for the festival circuit, continuing to build a body of work rooted in restraint, instinct, and presence. Guided by the belief that in the pursuit of finding oneself, one discovers perfection in acting, Vikrant approaches each role with honesty, curiosity, and quiet conviction.
